Is kitab ke baare mein

This is the English-medium Religious Studies textbook for Classes 9 and 10 from the Sindh Textbook Board, prepared under the new curriculum. It is organized in 4 chapters. Chapter 1 comes in two parts: (A) Introduction to Religions — the personal and psychological importance of religion, its social and moral importance, the role of religion in crisis resolution, and the concept of sin and crime; and (B) Religions of the World — with dedicated sections on Jainism and Mahavira.

Chapter 2 covers Social and Moral Values — glory of the Lord, places of worship and rituals of the major religions, piety, mercy, sympathy and truth across religions, accountability and its impact on human character, and time management in religious perspective. Chapter 3 teaches Social Etiquettes for real life — general etiquettes, then the etiquettes of places of worship, offices and banks, bus stands, railway stations and airports, and markets. Chapter 4, Noble Personalities, profiles four figures: Aristotle, the German philosopher Immanuel Kant, Imam Ghazali, and Florence Nightingale. Practical note: the STBB portal currently serves only the front matter and index pages of this book's PDF — the full text appears to be missing from the portal, which has been flagged.

Ustad ka mashwara

Comparative religion parhate waqt lehja ghair-janibdar aur ehtiram wala rakho — har mazhab ko us ke apne hawale se samjhao; Social Etiquettes wala chapter role-play activities se parhao, students ko khud yaad rahega.

— Rehman Ahmad Chaudhary, Head Teacher, GPS 117 DB(BJ), Yazman
