Asaan Sindhi for Classes 9 and 10 is the Sindh Textbook Board's flagship Sindhi-language reader, and it reads like a guided tour of Sindhi identity. The prose section (نثر جو ڀاڳو) opens with the حجۃ الوداع وارو خطبو — the Farewell Sermon — and moves through biographical sketches of حضرت سلمان فارسي and حضرت امام جعفر صادق, the قائداعظم جا ارشاد, and essays on culture and land: اجرڪ (the Ajrak, Sindh's most loved cultural symbol), ميرن جي درٻار (the court of the Mirs), and ڪينجهر ڍنڍ (Keenjhar Lake, the great lake of Sindh). It closes the prose section with سنڌي ادب جي مختصر تاريخ, a compact history of Sindhi literature that ties the whole book together.

The poetry section (نظم جو ڀاڳو) is equally rich: it carries the Sufi voices students must know — سچل سرمست gets his own lesson — alongside ٻڍايون-style folk wisdom, the patriotic پيارا وطن, and هاري, a poem on the life of the peasant. Every lesson is followed by مشق (exercises) built for board-exam practice, and the language stays deliberately simple — this is the 'asaan' (easy) Sindhi reader, written so that students in Urdu-medium schools can build real reading fluency in Sindhi.
