This is the Urdu-medium edition of the Sindh Textbook Board's Class 9 Biology textbook — the same AFAQ-prepared, board-approved syllabus as the English edition, rendered in clear Urdu for Urdu-medium schools. It covers the complete Class 9 course in 9 chapters: حیاتیات کا تعارف (introduction to Biology), حیاتیاتی مسئلہ کو حل کرنا (solving a biological problem — the scientific method), حیاتیاتی تنوع (biodiversity), خلیے اور نسیجے (cells and tissues), خلوی چکر (cell cycle), خامرے (enzymes), حیاتیاتی توانائی (bioenergetics), تغذیہ (nutrition), and ترسیل (transport).

Like its English counterpart, this edition was restructured so that 9 chapters are taught in Class 9 and the rest in Class 10, and it keeps the applied focus: biological problems of daily life, common disorders of the human body and their prevention, and agricultural aspects relevant to the country. Every chapter ends with مشق exercises — MCQs, short questions, and detailed questions — plus summaries and information boxes for revision. The Urdu scientific terminology used here (خلیے، نسیجے، خامرے، تغذیہ) is exactly what appears in the board exam, so students should learn these terms in Urdu rather than translating from English in their heads.
