Sindhi Reader V (سنڌي پنجون ڪتاب) is the Sindh Textbook Board's Class 5 Sindhi language reader (trial edition), approved by the School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh (letter NO.SELD/HCW/18/2018, dated 30-01-2022). Its 30 lessons mix حمد، نعت، نظمون (poems), ڪهاڻيون (stories) and informative prose.
The year opens with جيڏو تنهنجو نانءُ (حمد) and نعت, then moves through پورهيئي جي اهميت, حضرت عثمان غني, صوفي شاه عنايت شهيد جو ميلو, آڪاش منڊل and the flag poem هلو سَبز پرچم اڏاري هلو. Heritage lessons include موهن جو دڙو, عمر مارئي, بابا فريد گنج شڪر and دودو سومرو, while modern life appears in سائنسي ايجادون (written as an اي ميل!), اسڪائوٽنگ ۽ گرل گائيڊ and شهري رضاڪار.
Every lesson ends with سکيا جا حاصلات (learning outcomes) and exercises, and the book closes with نوان لفظ — a glossary of new words. Note: the downloadable STBB scan is missing printed pages 5-22 (lessons 1-6) — the book's own فهرست above lists the full 30 lessons as printed.
