Is kitab ke baare mein
Riazi V is the Sindh Textbook Board's Class 5 mathematics textbook in Urdu medium (2024 edition, published by Urdu Academy Sindh, Karachi), mirroring the English and Sindhi editions unit for unit — the same 11 units and page numbers, so all three mediums move in step.
The year opens with اعداد اور حسابی عوامل — reading numbers up to one billion (ایک بلین) in numerals and words, with the ملین/ہزار/اکائیاں place-value system. عادِ اعظم اور ذواضعاف اقل, کسور and کسور اعشاریہ اور فیصد build the core arithmetic, while فاصلہ، وقت اور درجہ حرارت and اکائی کا قاعدہ turn maths into everyday problem-solving.
جیومیٹری introduces shapes and constructions, احاطہ اور رقبہ moves to measurement, and معلومات داری gives a first taste of data. The book closes with فرہنگ اصطلاحات (glossary) and جوابات (answers), and every unit carries ہدایات برائے اساتذہ — teacher's notes with classroom activities like the flash-card drill for the one-billion concept.
