Introductory Macroeconomics is the second NCERT economics book for Class 12 (2026-27), zooming out from individuals to the whole economy in 6 chapters: national income accounting, money and banking, income and employment determination, the government budget and the open economy.
This is the more numerical of the two economics books — national income aggregates, the investment multiplier and money-multiplier numericals appear every year. Together the two books hold all 11 chapters of the rationalized Class 12 economics syllabus.
