Is kitab ke baare mein
Maths Mela is the new NCF-SE Class 5 mathematics textbook from NCERT (July 2025, NEP 2020 series), replacing the old Math Magic. Its 15 chapters turn maths into exploration: two "We the Travellers" journey chapters open and mid-point the book, while Fractions, Angles as Turns, Shapes and Patterns, Weight and Capacity, and Data Through Pictures build core concepts through activities.
Every chapter is activity-first — children measure, fold, draw and observe before they calculate. Chapters like The Dairy Farm, Coconut Farm and Grandmother’s Quilt root numbers in real Indian life, and the final chapter, Data Through Pictures, introduces young learners to reading information visually.
