Physics Part II is the second volume of the Class 11 NCERT Physics textbook — properties of matter, heat and waves. It covers Mechanical Properties of Solids, Mechanical Properties of Fluids, Thermal Properties of Matter, Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory, Oscillations and Waves.
Thermodynamics and Waves produce long numericals almost every year, and Kinetic Theory's derivations are a favourite hunting ground of the board paper. Together with Part I, the two volumes complete the Class 11 physics syllabus.
