Is kitab ke baare mein
Snapshots is the Class 11 English supplementary reader, prescribed alongside Hornbill for English Core. Where Hornbill gives short prose and poems, Snapshots gives five longer, deeper stories: William Saroyan's The Summer of the Beautiful White Horse, Marga Minco's wartime The Address, J.B. Priestley's play Mother's Day, A.J. Cronin's Birth, and Vikram Seth's satirical The Tale of Melon City.
The rationalized edition dropped three stories — Ranga's Marriage, Albert Einstein at School and The Ghat of the Only World — leaving these five. Board questions from Snapshots are long-answer, theme-and-character based, so reading the full text matters far more than memorising summaries here.
