Physics Part I is the first volume of the Class 11 NCERT Physics textbook — the complete journey through mechanics. It covers Units and Measurement, Motion in a Straight Line, Motion in a Plane, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, System of Particles and Rotational Motion, and Gravitation.
The rationalized edition removed the 'Physical World' chapter, leaving seven chapters in Part I. This volume carries the heaviest numerical weight of the year — Laws of Motion and Work, Energy and Power are favourites of both the board paper and JEE.
