Mathematics is the Class 11 NCERT mathematics textbook from the NCF-2005 series, prescribed in its rationalized edition for the 2026-27 session. Its 14 chapters run from Sets and Relations and Functions through Trigonometric Functions, Complex Numbers, Linear Inequalities, Permutations and Combinations, Binomial Theorem and Sequences and Series, into coordinate geometry (Straight Lines, Conic Sections, Three Dimensional Geometry), and close with Limits and Derivatives, Statistics and Probability.
Rationalization removed two chapters — Principle of Mathematical Induction and Mathematical Reasoning — leaving a tighter 14-chapter book. Every chapter pairs solved examples with graded exercises, and this book is the foundation for JEE and NEET mathematics: most competitive questions are NCERT concepts stretched one step further.
