Is kitab ke baare mein

Financial Accounting-I is the first volume of the Class 11 Accountancy textbook — the foundation of book-keeping. It covers Introduction to Accounting, Theory Base of Accounting, Recording of Transactions I and II (journal, ledger, cash book and subsidiary books), Bank Reconciliation Statement, Trial Balance and Rectification of Errors, and Depreciation, Provisions and Reserves.

The rationalized edition removed the 'Bill of Exchange and Promissory Note' chapter. The soul of this volume is practice: journal entries done by hand, again and again, until ledger posting and trial balance become reflex.

Poori chapter list (NCERT official)

1. Introduction to Accounting

Meaning, objectives, accounting as an information system

2. Theory Base of Accounting

Accounting principles, concepts and conventions — GAAP

3. Recording of Transactions-I

4. Recording of Transactions-II

5. Bank Reconciliation Statement

Matching the cash book with the bank pass book

6. Trial Balance and Rectification of Errors

Preparing the trial balance and correcting accounting errors

7. Depreciation, Provisions and Reserves

Ustad ka mashwara

Accountancy mein golden rules ratwane ke baad 50 journal entries khud karwayein — haath saaf hoga tabhi ledger aur trial balance banega. Bank Reconciliation Statement mein 'favourable/unfavourable balance' ka concept pehle din clear karein.
