Chemistry Part I builds the foundation of physical and inorganic chemistry for Class 11: Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry (the mole concept), Structure of Atom, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Thermodynamics and Equilibrium.
The rationalized edition removed five chapters — States of Matter, Hydrogen, s-Block Elements, p-Block Elements and Environmental Chemistry — leaving six. Chemical Bonding and Equilibrium are the heaviest chapters of this volume for both board and JEE/NEET.
