Biology is the Class 11 NCERT life-science textbook — 19 chapters spanning the diversity of life (The Living World through the Plant and Animal Kingdoms), plant morphology and anatomy, cell biology (Cell: The Unit of Life, Biomolecules, Cell Cycle and Cell Division), plant physiology (Photosynthesis, Respiration in Plants, Plant Growth and Development), and human physiology (Breathing, Body Fluids and Circulation, Excretion, Locomotion, Neural Control, Chemical Coordination).
The rationalized edition removed three chapters — Transport in Plants, Mineral Nutrition and Digestion and Absorption. This is a diagrams book: labelled diagrams from almost every chapter become direct board questions, and NEET draws the majority of its biology paper line-by-line from NCERT.
