This is the official Balochistan Textbook Board Mathematics textbook for Grade 8 (English), based on the National Curriculum 2022-23. Thirteen units build from number systems to statistics and probability: real numbers, approximation and estimation, square and cube roots, sets, proportion, percentage and financial arithmetic, number sequences with patterns, expansion and factorization, linear equations and inequalities, mensuration, congruency and similarity with triangle construction, information handling, and probability.
Each unit begins with Student's Learning Outcomes and uses worked examples, 'Did you know?' boxes and exercises. The book closes with answers to exercises (page 214), a glossary and index (page 247), and a symbols list (page 252) — making it fully usable for self-study and board exam preparation.
