This is the official Class 12 Biology textbook from the Balochistan Textbook Board, Quetta, written for the National Curriculum 2006. Yes. This is the official second-year biology book published by the Balochistan Textbook Board, Quetta. It continues the chapter numbering from Class 11, which is why the first unit is Unit 14 (Respiration) instead of Unit 1.
Which chapters are most important for board exams and MDCAT?
Units 22 (Inheritance) and 23 (Chromosome and DNA) carry the heaviest weightage — Mendel's laws, blood group systems, sex linkage, DNA replication, transcription-translation and the Lac Operon appear in almost every board paper and MDCAT test.
