Curiosity is the new NCF-SE Class 8 science textbook from NCERT (July 2025, NEP 2020 series), replacing the old Science book. Its 13 chapters take an inquiry-based path: children start by learning how science investigates (Exploring the Investigative World of Science) and then move through the invisible world of microbes, health, electricity and forces, the particulate nature of matter, light, and the skies — ending with Our Home: Earth, a Unique Life-Sustaining Planet.
The book is built around observation, experiments and evidence-based questions rather than definitions to memorise. Chapters like Keeping Time with the Skies connect astronomy to calendars and time zones, How Nature Works in Harmony traces food webs and ecological balance, and every chapter closes with activities that push children to test ideas with their own hands.

Ji haan — Curiosity NCERT ki nayi NCF-SE series (NEP 2020) ki Class 8 Science kitab hai, July 2025 mein launch hui. Purani Science book ab current syllabus ka hissa nahi.
