Exploring Society: India and Beyond Part II is the second volume of the new NCF-SE Class 7 Social Science textbook from NCERT (NEP 2020 series), published November 2025 — schools typically teach it in the second term. Its 8 chapters continue across the same 5 themes: the story of Indian farming, India and her neighbours, empires and kingdoms from the 6th to the 12th centuries, India as a home to many cultures, the state-government-citizen relationship, infrastructure as the engine of development, and the magic of banks and finance.
