Is kitab ke baare mein
Santoor is the new NCF-SE English textbook for Class 4 — part of NCERT's NEP 2020 series, the current book for the 2026-27 session. Its 12 chapters move from teamwork ('Together We Can') and safety ('Be Smart, Be Safe') to stories like 'The Old Stag' and 'Braille', games like 'The Lagori Champions', and journeys to 'Maheshwar' and the 'Magical Mountains'.
The book mixes stories and poems with activity-based exercises — speaking, writing and thinking tasks rather than rote questions. Chapters like 'Fit Body, Fit Mind, Fit Nation' and 'Braille' open young minds to health, inclusion and empathy alongside language.
