Is kitab ke baare mein
Our Wondrous World is the new NCF-SE Class 4 EVS textbook from NCERT (NEP 2020 series, current for 2026-27), replacing the old Looking Around. Its 10 chapters are grouped into 5 units — Our Community, Life Around Us, Health and Well-being, Things Around Us and Our Environment — from 'Living Together' to 'Different Lands, Different Lives' and 'Our Sky'.
Chapters like 'Exploring Our Neighbourhood', 'Nature Trail' and 'How Things are Made' connect science, society and the environment in one narrative. Activities push children to observe their own surroundings and ask how things work.
