Is kitab ke baare mein
Joyful Mathematics is the new NCF-SE Class 1 mathematics textbook from NCERT (NEP 2020 series, current reprint 2026-27), replacing the old Math Magic. Its 13 chapters take children from pre-number ideas — big-small, near-far, inside-outside — all the way to counting to 99, simple time and money, and first data handling.
Every chapter starts with play: finding a furry cat, mango treats, a vegetable farm, Lina's family, a festival (Utsav). Numbers are met through stories and real objects, never as dry sums — which is exactly the Foundational Stage approach the new curriculum wants.

Ustad ka mashwara
Class 1 ki maths kagaz par nahi, haathon mein hoti hai. ‘Mango Treat’ par asli aam ya gutliyan ginwayein; ‘Making 10’ par 10-10 ki dheriyan banwayein. Jab bachcha cheezon ko chhoo kar ginega, tabhi sankhya us ke zehen mein baithegi — worksheet baad mein, khel pehle.
