This is the Balochistan Textbook Board's official General Science textbook for Class 7, developed on the National Curriculum of Pakistan 2022-23 and printed as the Pilot Edition. The book covers all four strands of school science: Biology (units 1–3: plant systems, human respiratory and circulatory systems, immunity and diseases), Chemistry (units 4–7: structure of an atom, physical and chemical changes, chemical bonds, solutions), Physics (units 8–10: force and motion, waves and energy, heat and temperature), and Space and Technology (units 11–12: technology in everyday life, earth and space).
Every unit opens with learning outcomes and a vocabulary box, then builds through concepts, labeled diagrams, worked examples and activities. Students investigate transpiration in plants, write word equations for photosynthesis and respiration, derive the relationship between speed, distance and time, and describe how seasons follow Earth's annual revolution. A glossary (page 190) and index (page 197) close the book.
