My English VI is the Sindh Textbook Board's official English textbook for Class 6, written with the Society of Pakistan English Language Teachers (SPELT). Six themed units — «Practising Cleanliness», «Understanding Physical Well Being», «Patience», «The Value of Labour», «Knowing Children from Other Nations» and «Learning Through Personal Interests, Abilities and Hobbies» — each teach the full skill set: reading comprehension, speaking, language practice, writing, study skills and a fun activity.
Grammar grows unit by unit: modals (must/must not/should), present and past continuous tenses, pronouns as reference words, noun gender, passive voice, prepositions of time, wh-question words and the first conditional — always tied to the unit's reading, never drilled in isolation.
Writing gets real genres: dialogues, diary entries, describing objects and animals, autobiography, free writing and interviews. Study skills teach self-created cloze passages and timetables, and every unit ends with something joyful — colourful posters, cards, newspapers, IQ games and word games.
