Islamiyat VI (English medium) is the Sindh Textbook Board's official Islamiat textbook for Class 6, prepared by Professor Musawar Khan and Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Korai and translated by Dr. Hamid Ali. Five chapters take children from the Holy Quran to the heroes of Islam, in clear, simple English.
Chapter 1 covers recitation and memorization of the Holy Quran with three surahs — Al-Inshrah, Al-Teen and Al-Qadr. Chapter 2 builds the foundations of faith: Tawheed, the A'zaan, Namaz, the funeral prayer and Hajj. Chapter 3 tells the blessed Seerah from the Treaty of Hudaibiyah to the Battle of Khyber, including the Prophet's letters to world rulers (ﷺ).
Chapter 4 is the year's moral core — cleanliness, truthfulness, trustworthiness, benevolence, self-sacrifice for the country, human rights and the rights of parents, children, teachers and neighbours. Chapter 5 closes with four pearls of guidance: Hazrat Khadijah (رضی اللہ عنہا), Hazrat Ali (رضی اللہ عنہ), Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh and Tariq bin Ziyad (رحمۃ اللہ علیہما).
