Is kitab ke baare mein
My English Book–II is the Sindh Textbook Board's official Class 2 English textbook, built around seven thematic units that follow a child's own world: making friends, taking care of pets, doing small chores, the seasons, healthy eating habits, staying safe, and unity in diversity.
Every unit teaches the same four skills in order — oral communication, reading and critical thinking, vocabulary and grammar, then writing — so a lesson on pets (Unit 2) naturally moves from introducing pets, to the reading "Alia's Pets", to making plurals, to writing about one- and two-syllable words. Grammar never sits alone; it always grows out of the story the child just read.
The book closes with a picture story, a "Completing the Story" task in Unit 7, and a glossary on page 116 — a gentle first step into independent writing and word reference at this level.

Ustad ka mashwara
Bachon ko pehle khud bolne dein — "May I…?" (Unit 5) ko class mein asli situation mein practice karwayen, jaise pen mangna. Confidence yahin se aata hai. | Let every child speak first: act out "May I…?" from Unit 5 with real classroom situations, like asking for a pencil — that's where real confidence begins.

How is this book different from the old English II textbook?
It is built on the four-skills model — every unit of My English Book–II cycles through listening/speaking, reading, grammar and writing around one theme, with a "Note for Teacher" after each activity, instead of isolated grammar drills.
Which unit is best for starting the year?
Unit 1 (Making Friends) — greetings and introducing oneself and others is the natural ice-breaker for a new class, and its grammar (consonant digraphs, proper nouns) is the lightest in the book.
Does the book include writing practice?
Yes — every unit ends with a writing skill section, from identifying objects in a picture (Unit 1) to completing a story (Unit 7), plus ordinal numbers, action words and rhyming words along the way.
Where can I download the official PDF?
