Is kitab ke baare mein
Kaveri is the new NCF-SE 2023 Class 9 English textbook released by NCERT in April 2026, and it replaces the old Beehive and Moments set for the 2026-27 session onwards. The book has 8 thematic units, and every unit pairs one prose piece with one poem — so the reader moves between stories and verses on the same theme, from reading and work to change, music and dreams. Indian voices feature prominently, from "How I Taught My Grandmother to Read" to poems that celebrate Indian life and vocations.
Unlike the old set, Kaveri needs no separate workbook: each unit builds in its own vocabulary-in-context, speaking, listening and writing activities. The unit order itself tells a story of growing up — from a granddaughter teaching her grandmother to read, to the final call to 'Follow That Dream' and 'Believe in Yourself'.

Kaveri purani Beehive se chhoti lekin gehri kitab hai — 16 texts mein se har ek ko parh kar class mein discuss zaroor karwayein, sirf summary na parhayein. Nazmein sur mein parhwayein; 'How I Taught My Grandmother to Read' par bachchon se apne ghar ki koi kahani sunwayein. Har unit ki language activities kitab mein hi built-in hain — alag workbook ki zaroorat nahi, unhein skip na karein.

Ji haan — Kaveri NCERT ki nayi NCF-SE series (NEP 2020) ki Class 9 English kitab hai, jo April 2026 mein release hui. Purani Beehive aur Moments ab 2026-27 ke CBSE syllabus ka hissa nahi; schools ab Kaveri parhate hain.
Kaveri mein kitne units aur texts hain?
Kul 8 thematic units — har unit mein 1 prose piece + 1 nazm, yaani kul 16 texts: 'How I Taught My Grandmother to Read' se lekar 'Follow That Dream' aur 'Believe in Yourself' tak.
Kya Kaveri ke liye alag workbook bhi hai?
Nahi — Kaveri mein har unit ke saath vocabulary, speaking, listening aur writing ki activities integrated hain, is liye purani 'Words and Expressions' jaisi alag workbook NCERT ne is ke liye nahi nikali.
