Is kitab ke baare mein

This is the completely rewritten Class 9 Biology textbook from the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, Lahore, prepared for the Revised National Curriculum of Pakistan 2023 (web version of the PCTB textbook). The old nine-chapter course has grown into eleven chapters, and the changes are substantial: 'The Science of Biology' now opens the book with careers in biology and Quranic instructions on the study of life, and entirely new chapters — 'Biomolecules', 'Plant Physiology', 'Reproduction in Plants' and even 'Biostatistics' — appear for the first time.

Students will meet fresh territory throughout: the classification of Domain Eukarya and the status of viruses in Chapter 2 (Biodiversity), stem cells in Chapter 3 (The Cell), enzyme inhibition in Chapter 7 (Enzymes), and a full statistics chapter teaching mean, median, mode and bar charts in Chapter 11. If your school has adopted the 2025-26 syllabus, this is the edition the board paper will follow — the older nine-chapter books in this library remain useful as background reading.

Ustad ka mashwara

Naya syllabus, naye chapters — purani guess papers pe bharosa mat karein. Chapter 6 (Biomolecules) aur Chapter 11 (Biostatistics) bilkul naye hain; Biostatistics mein mean/median/mode ke chhote numericals ayenge, inhein math ki tarah practice karwayein. Chapter 9 (Plant Physiology) lamba hai — transpiration aur translocation of food ko diagrams ke sath parhayein. Glossary (page 173) end mein hai, revision ke waqt kaam ayegi.

Aksar pooche gaye sawalat

What is new in the 2025-26 Biology book compared to the old one?

The course grew from 9 to 11 chapters. New additions include Biomolecules, Plant Physiology, Reproduction in Plants and Biostatistics; older chapters were also reworked — for example Biodiversity now covers domains of living organisms and the status of viruses, and The Cell includes stem cells.

Why does a Biology book have a Biostatistics chapter?

The Revised National Curriculum of Pakistan 2023 added data literacy to science. Chapter 11 teaches the introduction of biostatistics, mean, median and mode, and bar charts — the basic tools biologists use to analyse experimental data.

Which curriculum is this book based on?

The Revised National Curriculum of Pakistan 2023, approved by the Board. It is the web version of the official PCTB textbook for the 2025-26 academic session.

Should I still read the older Biology books?

They are good background reading — the core science overlaps — but the board paper for the 2025-26 session follows this edition's eleven chapters, so make this your main book.
