Bio Tech 9 EM is the English Medium biology textbook for class 9 of the technical stream, built on the updated/revised National Curriculum of Pakistan 2023. Its nine chapters run from The Science of Biology through Biodiversity, The Cell, Cell Cycle, Tissues, Organs and Organ Systems, Enzymes, Bioenergetics, Plant Physiology and Reproduction in Plants, closing with a glossary. The table of contents is unusually fine-grained — 36 numbered sections, each with its own page — so topics like the scientific method (worked through the malaria example), binomial nomenclature, the domains of living organisms, mitosis vs meiosis, ATP as the cell's energy currency, and vegetative versus artificial propagation each get a clearly marked home.
