The Class 6 Ethics textbook (PCTB) is written for students of all faiths. It opens with the building of humanity and moral stories, then introduces the Sikh religion — Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life and teachings and the Sikh Gurus — and the religious festivals celebrated in Pakistan: Christmas, Eid-ul-Fitr and Guru Nanak’s birthday.
The longest bab, Akhlaqi Aqdaar, covers equality, respect for humanity, rules and traffic laws, followed by manners of eating and drinking, and famous personalities — Hazrat Maryam (AS), Ashoka and St. Thomas Aquinas.
