This is the Balochistan Textbook Board's Class 10 English Language textbook, published in Quetta under the National Curriculum 2006. It carries thirteen units that mix reading lessons, two poems and a story with grammar, vocabulary, oral communication and writing-skills work in every unit.

The reading pieces range from Hazrat Muhammad-ur-Rasool Ullah Khatam-un-Nabiyeen to Science and Technology, Road Safety, the Handicrafts of Balochistan and Providing First Aid. Poems include Wordsworth's The Daffodils, Be Kind by Margaret Courtney and William Edward Hickson's Try Again, and the story A Silly Master builds narrative reading skills. Each unit ends with comprehension questions, grammar exercises (conditional sentences, active and passive voice, infinitives, narration) and a writing task such as essays, applications, formal letters, reports and precis writing.
