# ReJob v1.5 — Distribution Checklist (buyer personalization)

Give this file with `rejob-v1.5-DIST.xml`. Everything below is edited in
Blogger — no code editing needed except where noted. Work top to bottom
after restoring the theme (Theme → Customize → Restore).

> 📌 **Current distribution build: v1.6.1** (`rejob-v1.6.1-DIST.xml`,
> R8b lineage — the accepted end of the T-015-FIX recovery ladder; see
> `CHANGELOG-v1.6.md`, v1.6.1 addendum). It carries the full v1.6
> backend-UX set on the v1.5 features below. One exception: the
> **Dark Mode Default Customizer control is excluded** — Blogger
> rejects the variable type that would hold that default (proven
> poison, R7), so visitors switch light/dark on the site and the
> theme remembers their choice.

> ⚠️ **LICENSE — OWNER DECISION NEEDED BEFORE SELLING.** The theme header
> (b:skin comment) says the work is licensed **CC BY-ND 4.0** and "No One
> Has Been Permission to Sell Or Distribute this template without Our
> Permission." That text conflicts with selling/distributing v1.5 as-is.
> The theme owner must decide the sale/free-release license and update the
> header text BEFORE any sale or public release. Do not distribute until
> this is resolved.

## 1. Must personalize

- [ ] **WhatsApp link** — Layout → _ReJob Configuration — Hover for Help_
      (LinkList28): the `whatsappUrl` entry (text-0) currently points to the
      seller's join page (`…/p/join-our-whatsapp-group.html`). Replace the
      link value with your own WhatsApp group/channel/page URL. Keep the
      option NAME (`whatsappUrl`) unchanged — edit only the value.
- [ ] **Twitter/X handle** — the head meta tags `twitter:site` and
      `twitter:creator` say `@iRehmanAhmad`. This is in the theme HTML
      (Theme → Edit HTML, search `@iRehmanAhmad`, 2 places) — replace with
      your own handle, or delete both lines if you have no X account.
- [ ] **Social profile defaults** — Layout widgets:
      _LinkList6_ (top-bar social), _LinkList7_ (Follow Us) and
      _LinkList76_ (Social Plugin) ship with the seller's Facebook /
      Instagram / X profile URLs (remaining networks are `#`). Replace each
      link with your own profile URL, or `#` to disable that icon.
- [ ] **Ad codes** — Layout ad widgets ship with empty/placeholder slots
      (empty slots auto-hide, so the site looks clean until you fill them):
      _HTML99_ Header Ad (728×90), _HTML7_ + _HTML1_ Ads Area, _HTML8_ Top
      Post Ad, _HTML9_ Below Post Ad, _HTML16_ Footer Ads Area. Paste your
      own ad network code (AdSense/Adsterra/etc.) into each slot you use.
      Also set `showHeaderAd` / `showFooterAd` in ReJob Configuration.
- [ ] **Disqus shortname** — Layout → _Variables / Comments_ (LinkList25):
      `disqusShortname` (text-0) is `rehmanahmad`. If you use Disqus,
      replace the value (link-0) with your own shortname. If you stay on
      Blogger comments, set `commentsSystem` (text-1) value to `blogger`
      (already the default) and ignore the shortname.
- [ ] **Blog identity** — your own logo (Layout → Main Logo widget), blog
      title/description (Settings), and the About image widget (Image150)
      still show seller defaults — replace them.
- [ ] **Stats (optional)** — ReJob Configuration `showStats` stays `false`
      until you enter YOUR real figures (`statsTotalJobs`,
      `statsOrganizations`, `statsVisitors`, `statsVerified`). Never ship
      the seller's numbers as your own.

## 2. Footer credit rule — DO NOT REMOVE (anti-tamper v2)

The footer must keep a credit link to **rehmanahmad.com OR filecobra.com**
(the `.rejob-required-credit` span in the Footer Copyright widget, HTML33).
The theme checks this on every page load: **if neither credit link is
present, visitors are automatically redirected to rehmanahmad.com.**
(The seller's own hostnames are exempt.) You may change the visible owner
name via ReJob Configuration → `footerOwnerName` — but the credit link
itself must stay.

## 3. Built-in AI Job Post Prompt — where it is

1. **Blogger Layout** → the card **"AI Job Post Prompt — Copy, Paste to
   ChatGPT/Gemini, Add the Ad"** (in the Theme Options / Admin Panel
   section). It is visible ONLY in Layout — visitors never see it. Copy
   the text, paste it into ChatGPT/Gemini/Claude, and attach a newspaper
   job ad (photo or text). The AI returns a ready-to-publish post.
2. **Inside the theme file itself** — the same prompt sits in an XML
   comment in the `<head>` (search the file for
   `REJOB AI JOB POST PROMPT`). Handy if you ever need it offline.

## 4. Shortcode cheat-sheet (used inside post bodies)

URLs inside `[apply]` / `[official]` are used exactly as written — always
paste the organization's OFFICIAL links from the advertisement, never a
third-party or shortened link.

## 5. Pages the menus expect

The top menu / footer link to static pages — create them under Pages with
these URLs (or repoint the menu widgets): `/p/about-us.html`,
`/p/contact-us.html`, `/p/privacy-policy.html`,
`/p/terms-and-conditions.html`, plus your WhatsApp join page.
